1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site, independent of every government office. It does not store official criminal records, retrieve them, conduct official checks, or submit documents for users.

Its function is to identify the custodians of Lewis County criminal records, including Lewis County Sheriff's Office, the local courts, Washington State Patrol, and the Washington Sex Offender Public Registry, and to provide links to outside research tools. Official agency records are controlled by the Washington Public Records Act, chapter 42.56 RCW, and criminal-history dissemination rules in chapter 10.97 RCW; these terms govern only this private website.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Use is conditioned on the following prohibitions. You may not:

• Use the website in violation of federal, state, or local law
• Threaten, stalk, or harass a person with information obtained here
• Use its content for housing, hiring, credit, or insurance decisions
• Attempt unauthorized access to any system or account
• Deploy scrapers, bots, or other automated collection tools against the pages
• Interfere with performance or prevent others from using the service

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information from these pages or linked tools must not be used to harass, stalk, intimidate, threaten, or discriminate. Such conduct may also violate the law. Washington registry information carries special misuse limits. The Washington Sex Offender Public Registry serves public safety and community awareness, not vigilantism, blacklisting, or discriminatory acts.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

This website is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and produces no background check, credit report, or other consumer report. Its advertising partners likewise do not provide tools intended for FCRA screening through this site. You agree not to use any linked or published data to:

• Make an employment decision
• Evaluate a tenant or housing applicant
• Set insurance terms or judge creditworthiness
• Decide eligibility for a license, permit, or government program
• Carry out any other activity regulated by the FCRA

A legally permissible check for a regulated purpose must come through Washington State Patrol or a screening provider that complies with the FCRA.
