Contact Us

Official Lewis County criminal records must come from the government office that keeps them. The contacts below separate Superior Court documents, sheriff and jail files, city police reports, and Washington State Patrol history products. This is a private reference resource and cannot retrieve, correct, certify, or remove a government record.

This Is Not a Government Office. This private resource cannot issue records, conduct an official check, change a file, or accept a Washington vacation or sealing request. Contact the responsible agency directly.

Need an Official Record?

Use these Lewis County and Washington contacts for the most common official record needs:

  • Superior Court files: Lewis County Clerk, 345 W Main Street, Chehalis, WA 98532; clerkrecords@lewiscountywa.gov.
  • Sheriff reports: Lewis County Sheriff's Office, 351 NW North Street, Chehalis, WA 98532; 360-748-9286.
  • Current jail records: Corrections Bureau, 360-748-9241 at all hours; Jail Administration, 360-740-2714 Monday through Friday.
  • State criminal history: Washington State Patrol Criminal Records Division through WATCH or its mailed fingerprint process.
  • City police reports: contact the police department that created the report; Centralia, Chehalis, and Winlock each use a separate route.
  • Vacation or sealing: file the correct form with the court that entered the judgment.

The sheriff records unit accepts focused law-enforcement requests through the county online system or its PDF form. For a Superior Court copy, send the case number, party name, named document, and delivery or certification request to the County Clerk instead. Confirm current counter hours before traveling.
